Service was extremely poor and was definitely not "fine dining". Potatoes came out cold and steak came out on a COLD PLATE!! who the hell does that when you are spending $70 for the steak! Fine dining your food comes out made to ORDER! Not made 6 hrs prior. Extremely dissatisfied!! Will not recommend this place nor will they receive my business again.
We had terrible service from our server, Christine. Service was unbelievably slow, in spite of the restaurant only being 1/3 full, and plenty of wait staff standing around chatting. We were there nearly 3 hours for dinner for two. The food was merely mediocre, if that. I could get a more interesting salad at Applebee's. I ordered Salmon, which came with the skin still on, and the sauce dribbled over the skin. When I asked Christine why they would drizzle the sauce on the skin only to have me peel off the skin and not eat it, she argued with me and said that people should eat the skin--it's good for you!! For high end ambience and high end prices, the service and food were very disappointing. For a new casino to have such a drastic disparity between price and quality, they must not be planning to stick around very long.
My conclusion: the drinks, especially beer at the casino is over priced. The meal is over priced. The cook and waiter both complained about each other. The lounge act, KICKS, was very entertaining. If I want casino food I'll go to another local casino's, between Ramona and Lakeside, buffet! If I want steak, I prefer LongHorn Steakhouse, they need one in San Diego.
Very slow service. Arrived at 7, served at 8:15. Food was average.
Didn’t know until we drove all the way out here that the entire property is 21+. We wanted to try the steakhouse for dinner but we’re forced to turnaround and go home because our son was with us. We won’t be back.
The service was moderate with Richard, but the dinner and wait time was horrible. First my wife and I split an Iceberg Wedge with blue cheese and bacon. The blue cheese topping was more of a thin herb dressing with a couple of large chunks of bacon. The salad was also small. Then I waited, and waited, and waited for my bone-in ribeye, medium rare with asparagus. While we all waited, 20 minutes or better, I sharpened and polished my dinnerware, cleaned crumbs off the table, tapped my foot, etc. The steak finally came out, cool. I don't mind resting your meat after grilling, but this was ridiculous. Then I started my wait for the asparagus while chewing the chewy steak. The asparagus finally arrives so devoid of flavor, not tender, and the chef with it. He asked me how my meal was. I am the polite type and didn't want to embarress our dinner guest and clients. He told me his was a simple recipe, salt and pepper and the oven. The side on the plate, it looked like mash potato on a tomato, it had a strange taste and texture, it tasted of kitchen drippings and cheese with some potato whipped together. They told me afterwards that I wasn't supposed to eat the garnish. I grow up cleaning my plate, so excuse me.
